Dear community,

I have recently changed my s8 ultra to a s10. I have stumbled on the same problem i had on my s8. I hope you all can help me with this.

When im trying to type on the web version of office my text disappear when i hit enter. (Bluetooth keyboard)

I have searched online for help they mention overtype, predictieve text and the simple steps like update software. I did it all even brought to my store where i bought it. They could not fix it, so can anyone help? I tried to turn off the overtype check the document i dont see any notifications if the overtype function is on.

If anyone can help would be appreciated, i dont have this on the office app, only with the web version. And yes i rather use the web because it is "full version" the app is to simplefied..

It sounds like you're experiencing a frustrating issue with the web version of Office on your Galaxy Tab S10 when using a Bluetooth keyboard. Since the issue only occurs on the web version and not the app, here are a few things you can try:

1. Check Browser Settings:
Sometimes browser extensions or settings can interfere with web-based applications. Try using a different browser (e.g., Chrome, Edge) or clearing the cache and cookies of your current browser.

2. Disable Auto-Correction and Predictive Text:
Even though youā€™ve turned off overtype, ensure that both auto-correction and predictive text are fully disabled on your Bluetooth keyboard settings, as they could be affecting text input. You can find these options in Settings > General Management > Samsung Keyboard.

3. Browser Compatibility:
Some web apps may behave differently in different browsers. Make sure you're using a browser that supports the full features of Office web applications, and check for any updates to the browser.

4. Try Incognito Mode:
Open an Incognito/Private browsing window. This disables most extensions and settings that might be causing the issue. If it works fine in Incognito mode, the problem could be with your browser's settings or extensions.

5. Keyboard Settings:
Go to Settings > Connected Devices > Bluetooth and check if there are any additional settings for your Bluetooth keyboard that might be conflicting with typing in the browser.

6. Use the Desktop Site:
In the browser, try requesting the Desktop Site version of Office by tapping the three dots in the top right corner and selecting "Desktop site." This can sometimes bypass mobile-specific settings that interfere with web apps.

If none of these resolve the issue, and you've already tried store-level assistance, it might be helpful to escalate the matter to Microsoft support, as they may have specific fixes for the web version of Office.
