Gray screen uniformity Tab S9

I just got a 256GB Tab S9 because I wanted more ram than on my 128GB Tab S9. 

However when I received the 256GB model I tested the display for gray screen uniformity issues and I found it was a bit granier than my 128GB model. 

The top one is the 128GB model and the bottom is 256GB.

How do both look? Is this an issue?

Where did you buy it? Its quite possible it has a refurbished display.

Hmm. They are still available new on Samsung's website. I'm not a fan of anything to do with BestBuy ever. Including their internal shipping practices 😉. However it's always possible that's just a manufacturer defective unit. How'd you do that test anyways?

I had this issue with the Tab S6 and bought a replacement unit.

For testing I put on a gray screen uniformity test video on low brightness and went in a dark room to see how bad it was. I thought they improved with the Tab S9 series but it looks like they did t

Yeah its a youtube video. I also tried a screen test app and it was less bad but still not good
