Tablets@Mrchinkink Did you create a new Google account and are trying to sign in with that? You first need to sign in with your old Google account and then change the account. if you forgot your Google account credentials, you will have to attempt to log into Google on another device and try to reset your password or username. If you have obtained a device from a relative or friend, they may not have released it from their account and you will need to have them sign it out of their account. If you took it over from a deceased friend or relative, you would have to know their account credentials prior to changing anything. If you found one somewhere, you are out of luck, as only the original owner can access the device. This is Android's theft protection.
