Right choice. When you switch to T-Mobile, you can use Samsung Cloud and be able to enroll in the One UI Betas without any issues (no matter unlocked or locked).

My Tab S9 Ultra got the update yesterday. There's not really anything I've found on the update that I like much, and there are several things I hate. The biggest issue I've found is that it absolutely ruins battery life. My battery went from 100% to 89% in only an hour. I'll see if it settles down with time.
It has settled down on my phone. Battery life seems to be great, maybe even better. Hopefully, it will on tablets too. Tab s9+ hasn't updated yet so I have no frame of reference there.
I got it on my 24 earlier today. It didn't ruin as many settings as it did on my Tab S9 Ultra, but it trashed my home screen. I'm keep an eye on battery drain. So far, it looks like I'll get about 12 hours on a charge, unless it calms down.
