"hold for me" feature for the phone app

I've been using the I've been using the one UI 8 beta for quite some time now and I've been wondering if we will ever get the ("hold for me") feature like the Google pixel

I just did some more research and apparently if you use the Google Phone app (I stopped using it awhile ago so that my Themes would work), the "Hold for me" feature is now available on newer Samsung phones since the feature is technically app specific. Since the feature is driven by Google Assistant, I wish that Samsung could somehow include the feature in their call app. I already hate that I am forced to use Google Messages for RCS. Not that it's a bad messaging app, but I love the customization options for the native Samsung apps.

Oh okay and I don't like using anything with google at all which is why I have a samsung phone and not google phone

I stand corrected regarding RCS in the Samsung Messages app; apparently they brought the feature back for the S25 series phones only!
