There should be an option to make face recognition.The default method of authentication
For example in my banking app i have a passkey, but it always defaults system wide to fingerprint unlock. There is an option to do face unlock, but there's no option to make face. Unlock your default.
With a 12mp selfie camera it is not possible. Banks would not allow for it. It would have to be a larger sensor that let's in more light. Like the Pixel 10ProXl has a 42mp selfie camera and you can use it for banking apps. My banking app has 2 step authentication, fingerprint and phone pin.
