Visual Voicemail

Please please please bring us a samsung or android visual voicemail baked into the software. It's awful that we have to have a carrier one or use 3rd party or still call in like the ancient *86 or whatever it is calling in.

I agree! I know some carriers support using Samsung's built-in visual voicemail and it's so much better than using a carrier's branded apps.

Please Samsung, allow all of us to use the native VVM.

I used to be able to use it and then it disappeared on me on a phone switch and never have been able to get visual voicemail on my phone other than using voxist and it isn't ideal.

I just realized that the option is there for me in the dialer app if I hit the 3 dot menu button but I can't see it up. It asks me to set a password and anything I enter comes back with an error saying it's old but I even tried making random new passwords. Hmmmm

They need to improve the native visual voicemail too. To access it on a Galaxy, you have to click the three dots at the top right and click Visual Voicemail which then brings you to a separate screen. Its treated as a separate app. On Pixel, its simply integrated into the Phone app.

Thank you for your feedback on Visual Voice mail. 

Currently, there are 2 types of Visual Voice mails; Carrier and Native

Carrier supported Visual Voicemail apps are preloaded on device (T-Mobile, Cricket...) with their own uniqueness, while Samsung device supports Native Visual Voice mail as a default (Dialer Settings > Visual Voice Mail) which is intended to support Visual Voicemail capability for network carries that do not support their own Visual Voicemail app. 

As suggested, we will keep improving the Native Visual Voicemail app to provide seamless experience to customers.

I am having trouble setting up the native VVM. I get a prompt to setup a password but any password inset receives an error. Please see the screenshots I posted in this thread above.

Any ideas?
