excess toolbars in notes

so i just updated Samsung notes after neglecting it for a while, and the first thing i see is that the drawing tools i never used are forced to be on the screen, and the formatting that i actually did use is all laid out in one line instead of list options being in a drop-down like before.

 

how do i go back to how it was before, with lists in a drop-down and the drawing tools not showing up unless i specifically enabled them

The toolbar can be edited to show what icons you want shown.

but even then the bar is still there, and i want it gone

Unfortunately, I don't think that is possible.

You would have to install an older version of Samsung Notes.

Oh, that toolbar is an annoyance, and should by no means be there before the keyboard pops up, and they should have made it hidable for those who have no need of it. I believe it caters to SPen or stylus users. Since not every phone supports the SPen, it should not be an unremovable fixture.

How to permanently change the color of my text editing toolbar. 🤔 Everytime I change the color. It goes right back to black.
