Samsung Apps and ServicesAs @GaryB82 has stated, if you want updates and notifications, or even just to post and have an updated feed, you should keep meta services toggled on. If you do not use Facebook, Instagram, Messenger, WhatsApp, or any other Meta program, by all means, toggle it off. I do suspect what they mean by always allowed to use data, is that it will use your phone's mobile data instead of wi-fi. If you toggle it off, your updates and notifications may still come via wi-fi, but only if you are connected to a wi-fi network. I suspect it does not use mobile data unless no wi-fi network is available. That special access is only to allow apps to use data when necessary, not that they are continuously using it.
