I have noticed several users today claiming to be Community Managers/Admins or "security testers."

Do not be fooled by these accounts!

These are most likely scammers and are not associated with Samsung in any way. There could be any number of reasons that these users are trying to pose as official accounts, but the most probable is that they are trying to get users to give away personal info or click malicious links.

โ˜† Official samsung accounts will ALWAYS have a flair by their username indicating that they are Community Managers.

Notice how these types of accounts are explicitly labeled as Mods and Community Managers

โ˜† Simply having an account named some variation of "Community Manager" DOES NOT indicate an official account.

If you see one of these accounts, do not engage. Report the post/comment by tapping the 3 dots on the right hand side.

Stay vigilant, stay safe, Members!

Thanks for the PSA. I only noticed & reported one such account. Sounds like they snuck in more.

They also do that sometimes because they want their responses to sound more official.
