Video player and picture-in-picture

The decision to get rid of certain features has me annoyed and frustrated. Making my videos from gallery go into Picture-in-picture automatically (when presing home button) and not being able to swtich to playback is annoying the heck out of me. Please reconsider adding this feature back.

Works fine for me. What device and what OS version? Are you sure you have the video player open and not just playing it through the gallery itself?

One ui 8. gallery doesn't have pip. Video player pip used to have a button to switch to playback (it had headphones icon) right from the player. now it only shows buttons for last video, play/pause, and next video. The white circle (in the screenshot) is roughly where it used to be.

I think this phone (S24+) will be my last samsung, they've been getting rid of many features and customization options that I actually used.
