Typing to search in Circle to Search

Anyone knows how, or any way to solve the problem in Circle to Search?

So, when you circle something, a bunch of information will appear so you know what it is. The important thing is that it has a Search Bar, but when you click to type, it doesn't work. The keyboard is not showing up. This has been happening for long time, but I don't understand why no one has fixed it yet. And because it is a Google app integrated by Samsung, I don't know who this error belongs to.

This has been happening to me too, not only on here but in general when I type something, it wont type. I have to close the app and open it again. Youtube, Google, just the search bar where you type. Im not sure how to fix it though, its samsungs job.

I don't have any problems with other apps, only Circle to Search. Lol,

@GarfieldP  This is happening a few people and you should report it to Google Support since Circle to Search is a Google Feature.  You can click on the 3 dots in the top of your screenshot to report feedback to Google.

On newer Samsung devices Circle to Search is built in and is activated by long pressing the home button on the navigation bar. I have no issues when using it.

Yeah, it's a built-in Google service that Google controls and updates, so any issues with it have to be addressed to Google to fix.

i was having the same issue since a few of days ago.. i just found out that the keyboard starts to show after you select one of the suggestions in the search box for results and remove the suggested search text with the cross at the far right of the search box.. hope this helps..

This is a helpful workaround, though I do wish Google and/or Samsung would fix the problem. It's been irritating me for months, and the issue persists!
