Iโm using a Samsung Galaxy A32, and Iโm facing an issue with Truecaller. Sometimes it doesnโt show the caller name, and many times spam calls also appear as โUnknown.โ
Iโve already checked all permissions like caller ID access, contacts, and turned off battery optimization for Truecaller. I even reinstalled the app, but after some time the same problem starts again. https://truecallarapk.com
Is this a problem with the Truecaller app itself, or is it related to my Samsung phone?
It might be the modded truecaller you have as I followed the link and saw as in the picture, Try uninstalling that and install truecaller from the Play Store, then see again.
@Bravo12311John You may also want to run a malware scan if you installed that APK from a random website, which may or may not be affiliated with the official Truecaller app.
"Mod" is the keyword here. It seems that you have sideloaded an unofficial version of an app from a questionable source.
Not only should it come as no surprise that the app isn't working properly, your device and sensitive data (such as contact info and any other permissions you have given) may be compromised. You also have no recourse with the dev as this is an unofficial and possibly malicious apk.
It is recommended to uninstall immediately and scan your device for threats. Only install apps from the Play Store and Galaxy Store.
