Just ended a call with AT&T. It is a software issue not a carrier issue. They can't fix it. Only Samsung can. They provided me with a number to call Samsung for a patch or work around until Samsung can fix the problem

I am hoping they fix this soon. I need my phone for work. In the meantime, I guess I'll suffer with another dialer.

Don't they test this stuff?

Exactly the carrier, in this case AT&T is supposed to test the software before releasing it.
You would think that would be one of the first things they would test, you know can a phone be a phone and make or recieve calls.

I use to think Verizon was always the last to release software updates, now I am glad they do

Are the two phones using the same network? It seems to happen to anyone with Samsung S22 and using AT&T network, and Samsung and AT&T are blaming each other 🤣
