Umm... No! Horizontal, is much easier to navigate! If I use vertical and want to get to "Z", it takes 4 swipes, where as it only takes one press to get to "Z" horizontally! And don't get me started on "search" with the extra presses and waiting for the keyboard to appear and who knows where the app will show up when search is done. Horizontal app locations are Always in the Same place on the Same page, I could do it half asleep! Not even possible vertically or with search!

In the 3 dot menu on the Search bar, click sort then custom order

It doesn't alphabetize. It mixes them up.
