Samsung Apps and ServicesTaken from Amazon forum
Our technical team is still working on a solution. In the meantime, they have provided the following workaround.
Download purchased music to Amazon Music Player and then copy the file to the Android music player of your choice.
- Open the Amazon Music app.
- Select Library.
- Select Playlists.
- Select Purchased playlist to see the music that you own.
- Tap the context menu next to the song and choose Download.
- Downloaded music is saved by default to an Amazon Music folder on your Android device. This folder can be found at /Android/data/com.amazon.mp3/files/Music/Purchased.
- To copy music to another folder or device, use a file browser such as Android File Transfer. It can be downloaded from the Google Play Store. Navigate to the filepath and copy the files to their new location.

Samsung Apps and ServicesSame here. Bought something on Amazon yesterday, and it didn't automatically download to my Samsung music app on my phone per usual. I've been looking for answers everywhere. Glad to see I'm not alone. Bookmarking hoping for some answer. Help!

Samsung Apps and ServicesOnly luck I've had is to download Amazon music app to my laptop. Download the music from the app to the laptop. Plug my phone into the laptop and after MANY attempts of trial and error find the folder where the Amazon Music is stored and try to get it to copy over to my SD card. This is a MAJOR pain in the . I have been working on this since I made this post. I ordered The Essential Judas Priest album and it did not download from Amazon right to my SD card like the settings says it does. I can NOT find the downloaded music ANYWHERE on my phone. They only way I found was to do it with the instructions above. Good luck, it's very frustrating. And Amazon is going to lose a lot of money because I'm not going to order single songs or albums from them if I have to go through ALL this work to get the music on to my phone.

Samsung Apps and ServicesAgree, I'm done purchasing music from Amazon unless/until this gets resolved. I too was able to download the music onto my computer -- Microsoft Surface (Groove music app) -- but I have not gone through the steps of moving the file(s) to my phone.
Looks like someone has posted same issue on an Amazon help forum here:
https://www.amazonforum.com/s/question/0D56Q00008bZHodSAG/purchased-mp3-songs-not-downloading
In the meantime, maybe someone from Samsung will see this post on their own forum and respond.

Samsung Apps and ServicesI just tried this, and it didn't work for me. It doesn't appear that my Amazon mp3's are downloading at all into my Samsung Galaxy S10e phone, since I can't find the files anywhere in my phone's internal storage. The files seem to only "download" into the Amazon music app's download directory.
Worth noting that there are multiple threads on this issue on the Amazon help forum. Lots of work around ideas, no fixes. I'm still unclear if this is an Amazon issue or a Samsung issue -- probably both.
