trying to create a routine to keep the screen on in the Health APP while riding my bike. I like to follow along with the map as it shows my direction and position, etc.

? is there a way to turn off the screen timeout until the routine has finished? right now the longest timeout is 2 minutes. my bike rides are like an hour long😁

my routine is:

IF/During exercise-Bike

THEN/Screen timeout-2 minutes

I also use an APP  "Bicycle Speedometer" which does keep the screen on as long as I'm in the app.  that's want I want my health app to do. right now, it times out to a black screen while riding. hope that makes sense.

That looks like it might not be recognizing your bike exercise. You may either have to choose start routine manually, or just forgo a routine and just starrt your app and tap the keep screen on icon in the quick panel. You might be better off using a mode rather than a routine

OK I tried it again this morning. Started the Bike exercise, get the Keep screen notice, back arrow out of that and start riding. 2 minutes later the screen goes off.
I then checked the Keep screen on button in the quick panel. It was grayed out. I clicked the button then back to the health app. That worked. Screen stayed on for 30 minutes. Then I got a pop up message to extend it another 30 minutes, which I clicked extend. It continued to work (screen stayed on) until I finished my ride.

So it works if I click the Keep screen on button in the quick panel. Is there a way to automate that click in the routine?

Thats what that app action is supposed to do. I guess it's not quite perfect. But, for my money, it's just as easy to forgo the routine and just start your app and tap the QP button. As I said, it might be better to modify exercise mode to do this action and start the mode manually.

If you download Good Lock's routines + module, you can add that action as a touch macro to either a mode or routine. You probably won't be able to add the tap to continue action, though. To set up a touch macro, you have to enable the action, and then record the steps of pulling down the QP and tapping the icon.
