what are your thoughts on how much Samsung x Google is going to take off and possibly butcher the Bixby ecosystem all together?
I trued using Bixby when I first got my Z Fold 6, but i just couldn't manage to find the advantages over Google Assistant. since I've actually fully transitioned over to Gemini Assistant for pretty much everything.
It seems like with the latest update, Gemini has as much access to your phone features as Bixby has always had. Coupled with the better AI of Gemini, there's little reason to use Bixby now. Also, my Bixby has become very unreliable. When I try to give Bixby a voice command, like 'start a timer for three minutes,' Bixby closes after I've said a word or two.
Bixby is great for doing things on-device for you. I use the text call feature to screen calls from unknown numbers; or other phone functions. I personally won't use Gemini, but Perplexity (Pro is free for Galaxy users) is pretty good about answering complex questions.
