Can i request a feature for modes and routines? i basically want the do not disturb to turn on when there is a calendar event going on in my samsung calendar. thay would be super convinient. right now, modes and routines does not trigger based on any sort of calendar. i also see a lot more possibilities with the link.
Does every event you put on your calendar require DND? It's easy enough to turn DND on when you are in, or headed for your event. Even if a routine was available, you would still have to configure it for each event, which you can do now by using time as a trigger. This is something that is best done manually, as there would be too many variables to program to allow for calendar events.

well it would be helpful if i didn't have to remember to tap a button every time i go in and out of an event. sometimes, i have my phone in my pocket for hours without pulling it out. its embarrasing when i go to a meeting and my phone starts buzzing only cus i forgot to tap a button. its helpful to have it automated.
You can configure work mode to mute all sounds and notifications and/or turn on DND during your work day. You can have the mode automatically activate during your working days/hours. Even if your suggestion ever gets implemented, it's not going to be immediate, so the mode should suffice until then. If you can remember to show up for your meeting, you can remember to take your phone out of your pocket and turn on DND. You can even add a reminder alarm to turn on DND when the meeting starts. The best way, for now though, would be to configure work mode.

@polarpenguin69 I am surprised that this isn't already something you can select as a trigger. This would be ultra convenient. Especially if you could tell it to trigger with a combination of times. Such as go into DND if it is during work hours and a calendar event is happening.

@polarpenguin69 You can try this routine. I used the calendar notification and keyword as triggers.
