It would be great if in one of the next Health App updates if they can add a feature in medication reminders to pause and resume a medication. There are times when one needs to have the medications on their schedule, but needs to pause for a certain amount of time due to illness or surgical preparation. Being able to just hit pause for some number of days and automatically resume reminders would be helpful to many. The pause should be applicable for individual medications - not just a generic pause all reminders. Right now, the only way to accomplish this is by putting an end date on the medication (to keep it in the list) and then having to remember to change it back.

It does get really confusing as I said, when they are on different stop start schedules. I have an upcoming surgery and I have to stop medications at different times before then.

Someone in another post was recommending an app called Medisafe. Looking at the screen shots in the Play store, it appears it has a "suspend" option for each med. So, this can definitely be done. I may download it to test it if that feature is included in its free version.
Edit: so I downloaded that app, but the suspend option is a manual thing. You have to suspend, and remember to unsuspend (which, I guess, is better than nothing). I'm looking for the options to set a number of days or from date to date and then automatically turn back on.

People find it useful. It depends on what you are tracking. The medication reminders are especially useful to many people and would be very much improved by this change.
You would have to explore the app and its capabilities yourself to determine its usefulness to you. It's not like you have to pay extra for it.

Thanks! I was just trying to see if there is a huge community and support behind it. Some of the other health apps I been using added a lot of tips and reminders built it to help me focus on myself
I have already put in a feedback request, and I encourage anyone who has interest to do so as well. The more requests they get, the more likely they are to eventually act.
