I will like sansung to creat a private app for only Samsung phones alone, just like blackberry created pinging back in the days and iPhone created imessenger app, please creat a unique with security social media app that people can not arch into. In this regards we will stand out when iphone users are running their mouths.
You know what's better than platform exclusive messaging apps that exclude anyone who doesn't own a specific device? A universal standard for all devices, both Android and iPhone, full of features like typing indicators, read receipts, emoji reactions, higher quality image and video sending/receiving, larger group messaging caps, and more.
What I just described already exists. Using RCS in Google Messages is the best messaging experience for Android devices, which is why Samsung has made it the new default.
There are many avenues to create a private group with membership requirements. Facebook Groups, WhatsApp Groups. This app that you are on right now is not, technically, a social group (although it has a social aspect to it). It is a Semi-public forum in that anyone can join, but they have to sign up and join. Except for the spammers and bots (for all I know, they can be using Samsung devices to spam), everyone here owns a Samsung product. It is basically focused on technical help, but there is no strict rule that discussions of the hardware and features in general can't be discussed. As a matter of fact, there were "hangouts" created for this type of social interaction for those that are interested. The "use it, share it" hangout comes to mind. Or, you can just start a post in the appropriate section of the app, tilted "Hey, guys, let's discuss the fabulousness of our phones" and see if anyone responds.
