Stuck in OneUI 8.5 Beta... Downgrade, then it updates back

I removed my self from the beta sometime in mid decemeber, downgraded using smart switch, the moment I setup everything instantly OneUI 8.5 beta starts to download and update...  Have downgraded 3 times now and each time phone starts updating BACK to 8.5.

The phone has just been collecting dust because of that.. Been using the S25 Edge. Guess it'll collect dust until trade in time for the S26 Ultra

Need to let a moderator know this. If it gets stuck in beta, the trade in will not happen unless it has a fully released firmware on the device.

At the time I'll just downgrade and turn the phone off so it doesn't update

Yes unroll from the beta program than use smartswitch to roll back, BUT before you do backup your data as it will reset your phone if you do

Incorrect. Reset, Setup without even logging into a google account or loading anything... Update starts

Are you downgrading while plugged into a computer with smart switch installed ?
