Hi all

I'm running the one ui 7 beta 2 on a galaxy s24 and my phone sometimes several times a day will start blinking like a turn signal several times in a row before it finally reboots itself. And because of the constant blinking there's no way to manually restart it so I have to wait until it finally stops blinking and reboots by itself. Anyone else having this issue with the one ui 7 beta 2? And if so what fixes it? Or am I stuck with waiting until they decide to release beta 3?

My only suggestion is to do a factory reset until beta 3 comes out would be my best guess

Hi,

First of all thank you for replying. I would do this except I don't want to lose all of my data and my laptop is Linux Mint and smartswitch doesn't work with Linux. So hopefully if my phone doesn't get bricked I'll have to wait for Beta 3 to get this fixed hopefully. They have several reports of this already so hopefully the fix will be in Beta 3. Just wish they would release beta 3 already šŸ™šŸ»šŸ™šŸ»šŸ™šŸ»šŸ™šŸ»

Unfortunately I don't. I just got this phone about a month ago. As long as the phone doesn't get bricked hopefully I can get it to survive until Beta 3 comes out and prayerfully that will have the fix in it

Hi

First of all thank you very much for following up. It's only been 24 hours since I updated but so far so good no rebooting and I personally really love all the new os sounds

Hi @youu I think I spoke too soon and my phone went blink blink blink and rebooted itself again the other day. But I think I may have finally found the culprit or at least I'm praying that I did. I had both the fingerprint sensor and facial recognition both activated at the same time. So for the heck of it I turned off facial recognition and left only the fingerprint sensor on and so far it hasn't done it anymore. So it's looking like the fingerprint sensor and facial recognition are conflicting with each other causing the software to freak out

That wouldn't matter because I also have both of those on, (and pretty sure everybody else does to) in would suggest backing up everything and resetting if this is still an issue
