QLED and The Frame TVs

Hi, I bought a new TV model QN85QN70FAFXZA from Samsung online store, I notice light spots on some parts of the screen when the background is dark or just black, mostly on the 4 corners and look like ripples, contacted Samsung and even they didn't want to replace the 3 weeks old TV, they send a service technician that end up changing the whole screen panel. The problem is that the new panel have similar problems (different ripples patterns but very similar), my previous Samsung 82 inches TV (2020) model didn't have this problem. Is this normal for the Neo QLED TVs? Is this a problem or is just me? Attached are pictures of the old panel and new panel showing similar light spots. Will this problem be solved by a new firmware update?

What should I do? old_panel.jpgnew_panel.jpgold_at_night.jpgdark_background_movie.jpg

Probably not fixed with firmware update.
Last time I remember buying brand new Samsung TV with same color bleeding issue, Samsung had to exchange it

They did with the original panel but the new panel had the same issue. That is why I'm questioning if this is a problem not related to the panel but to software. I saw the technician installing a brand new panel in front of me.

I have the exact same issue with my Samsung The Frame Pro 85" 4K UHD HDR Neo QLED Tizen Smart TV (QN85LS03FWFXZC) - 2025.  Looking at your screenshots all the white lines are in the same locations.  Did you figure out a solution?

Hmm so did we get a couple lemons then?  I'll try calling Samsung next week and will let you know if I get different results.

Hey Cryptos99, thank you for sharing this concern with us. I'm realizing how frustrating this must be after getting a new TV. Unfortunately, there are not many troubleshooting steps for this matter. Try testing out another HDMI cable to make sure this isn't the cause of a defective cable.
The next option would be a service repair, and reaching out to Samsung support would be the best option. If you would like to speak with us. You can send us a private message to the link here, or they can click on my name and send me a private message directly from my profile.

Thank you for getting back to me.  I'm not using an HDMI, this is through the onboard Samsung app.  I will hook something up and try on it on HDMI and see if I still have the issue.  If I do I'll use your steps on contact support.

External source or streaming with different apps make no difference. The brigth spots patterns are consistent and always there. You could try to contact support and arrange a service to change the panel. For me the new panel (out of a crate) had a similar problem with brigth spots. The problem is that only show on dark rooms and in my case is only posible at night. So when the technician finish all looked fine.
