Monitors and MemoryHello dear community,
I have build a PC for my friend and i have pick the same monitor as I did on August 2024, and I've noticed, that in his monitor the same as mine model G40B have newer update installed m-b4000gcza-1008.1, who makes the color more vibrance and contrast is higher, my has m-b4000gcza-1006.0, is it somehow possible to get this new update for monitors who were brough last year?

Monitors and MemoryOne have 1008.1 (and if the frimware/driver get problems, i wonder how a Service IT will fix it, when on site you have 1006.0 - but than it won't allow to be update again since "The Newer frimware is installed", solution is to reupdate to the same version), so nope. I wont deal with it, sorry, but for me this is not right, and if you are some CEO worker of samsung, than sorry, but the only solution by your reply is to avoid buying gaming monitors from this brand. Like I mention above, no one else does so (expect Dell - one time action), Quality must be keep, if something went off, it shouldn't be allowed for sale.

Monitors and MemoryGoogle for a new driver. Perhaps it is on some website somewhere. Otherwise, go to the support site, click the "contact us" (or whatever their help link is), and as if there is an updated driver/firmware available. You are referring to me a "you" as if I am a representative of Samsung. I am not, just a user like everybody else here. I have no control over what the website offers or what software Samsung puts up on their website. In any case, you would have to contact Samsung through official means (contact link, call, put in an error report/send feedback), not here on a peer-to-peer user help forum. No one here can help you with your issue and no one from Samsung reads these posts.

Monitors and MemoryGoogle sadly didn't found anything, that's why I've made a topic, but as you mention, the better option is to contact them. If I will know something, than I'll share the update here.
