I'm amazed I can't find a post about this issue. Amazon has 20 one-star reviews about this. I bought this monitor (over $700). The joystick cracked (a cheap piece of plastic) within 2 months. I figured, no problem. I can deal with it. A month later it disintegrated. I called customer service, and it WAS NOT cover under warranty. As well as functioning as the on/off switch, it also serves as menu access and screen adjustments. Completely unacceptable. BUYER BEWARE!!!!
Did you buy the monitor direct from Samsung? I'm wondering why you would buy a product with 20 one star reviews, especially if those reviews were the only ones. There is a difference between 20 one star reviews out of 20 and 20 one star reviews out of 4,716.
