Monitors and MemoryI have owned several of the 49" wide Samsung monitors. Primarily got into them for work and the ease of having just 1 wide monitor instead of three monitors. Super helpful.
Just moved and decided to upgrade the office and got a G95SC a week later decided to mount a second monitor so i picked up a G93SD
Initially had the G95SC on bottom but after a month of non stop Register your product screen popping up i decided to swap placement and put the G93SD on bottom.
Worked great as primary focus is bottom monitor. And the register your product on the G95SC will disappear after a few seconds. All seemed to be going well. Then i made the mistake of downloading the firmware update that popped up on the G93SD. Now if i Alt Tab out of a game or anything to do something on the G95SC the G93SD screen goes black and will not come back. I have to reboot in order to get it back to working.
I was a huge fan of these ultrawide Samsung products. Now i feel i have made a huge mistake.
I have searched and tried finding solutions. I seen where supposedly the Register product will just stop after a couple weeks, well thats not happened yet and its been a couple of months.
The black screen i have just found several people having the same issue across a wide range of Samsung monitors.
Sad to invest so much money into this and have nothing but non stop issues.
When they work right they look great.............................
