LaundryI am able to find my dryer on smart things but when I am instructed to connect to the dryer WiFi it does not appear. I’ve reset my router, reset my phone, waited ages, checked back after some time, over and over but the WiFi listed never appears as an option to connect to. I’ve tried starting the process while connected to both the 5G and 2.4 (or whatever the slower version of my WiFi is) and still nothing. Please help. TIA.

LaundryAre you following the connection procedure to add the dryer to your wi-fi? The connected appliances have their own internal wi-fi network, that you must connect to first, then complete the setup to link to your own home network. This has been true of any smart device I have had to set up on my home network. Read your manual. Also, smart appliances generally prefer the 2.4 gHz band because it's longer range and less prone to interference.

LaundryThe internal network I have to connect to is not showing up as an option to connect to. That’s the problem. I have added several other devices no problem, but my dryer’s internal network is not appearing on the list of available WiFi’s. I have even tried copying the name of the WiFi and pasting it to the “other connection” option at the bottom of the list of WiFi’s but it’s not there.
