Sorry new to all this. Can you guys let me know if the dimming patches in the screenshots are normal. Its a new TV. I'm reading thro reddit and its seems normal. My old nu8000 was way better but that died.
I don't really notice these dimming patches (white spots) when I watch normally, but I notice the patches during some transitions (when Netflix, Amazon boots up), and it cant be unseen! I can't help but notice them now. Will these white patches or spots on a brand-new TV cause the panel to deteriorate over time?
The store I bought it from claimed it was normal (I've already exchanged one from them that was even worse). I'm just wondering if exchanging another will result in a screen with a consistent zero white spots or if there will unavoidably be more white spots just in different places. Reddit forums seems to suggest these spots are normal. From the perspective of the customer, how can this be normal?
Thoughts/comments welcomed.
