Monitors and MemoryModel: Samsung Smart Monitor M7 (M70D)
Description: I am experiencing a persistent handshake issue with my USB DAC (KORG DS-DAC-10R) when connected to the M70D monitor.
The Constraints:
No ARC Support: I am using a high-end legacy system that does not support HDMI ARC.
No Optical Port: Since the M70D has removed the Optical output, USB is my only option for high-quality audio.
The Issue: When the monitor is in standby, the USB-A (SERVICE) port remains powered and the DAC stays on. However, when I turn the monitor back on, the Tizen OS fails to recognize the DAC. The audio output defaults back to the internal speakers. I have to physically unplug and re-plug the USB cable every single time to get it to work.
Request: Please address this in a future firmware update. The system should re-scan or remount active USB audio devices during the wake-up sequence, even if the device was never powered down during standby.
