Quick solution:
1: All Settings
2: Connections
3: External Device Manager
4: Input Signal Plus (OFF) **For the corresponding HDMI.

You should know when you do this. In most cases it disables 10bit color and 120/144hz.
What you get is 8bit at 60hz.
My S95C is used as PC monitor. By disabling "Input Signal Plus" I've been able to configure display settings at 4k 120hz HDR - but at 8bit color only. And honesty unless you're watching a 10bit color source.. you don't know the difference. Either way.. nobody should have to deal with this issue. We buy Flagships so we don't have to. Anyways, if you're willing to pop the box open and just replace it yourself in 5min. Heres the part you need. Hope it helps.

As for the part that needs replaced here's the link.. just scroll down in the link part is $180.

*** The Quick Fix ***
No dropouts. But I can force 120hz with HDR at 8bit color with "Input Signal Plus" disabled in the settings menu.
