I continue to have issues with my Q-Symphony-enabled Samsung soundbar and both my S95B and S90C TVs, despite all devices being fully up to date. Specifically, whenever I turn off my PlayStation 5—whether into rest mode or completely off—the TV doesn’t revert back to my preferred Adaptive Sound mode. Instead, it remains locked in Game Mode.

For context, I only use two HDMI devices: my soundbar (connected via eARC) and my PS5. For media entertainment, I primarily use apps on the TV itself. It’s incredibly frustrating that Samsung has yet to implement a solution where the TV detects that Game Mode is no longer needed after the PS5 powers down.

Disabling eARC isn’t an option for me since I rely on those settings, so I’m wondering if anyone else has encountered this issue or found a workaround.

Just before posting this, I noticed my S90C has a new update. I plan to check if it addresses the problem later today, but I’m not too optimistic. The same issue persists with my S95B, and it’s been present since I first noticed it last year.

Secondary Question: Does anyone know what the most recent S90C update (version 2020) focuses on? It seems to be the first update since the new One UI was launched.
