Hi. My range has the prompts to turn off the clock, but every time I do them the clock just stays there. Even on the 12 hr energy savings mode (stupid as 12 hrs btw). I do not want my display showing the clock as it burns energy for no reason. And it's super bright. How do I turn this off? Thanks

Most Samsung ranges do not allow the clock display to be completely turned off. The "Clock Off” option and the 12-hour energy-saving mode only dim the display-they do not fully disable it. This is by design, so the oven can still show important alerts, such as preheat status, error messages, or active cooking modes. If the brightness is bothersome, you can reduce it in the display settings to the lowest level or enable Control Lock/Child Lock, which dims the screen further. Otherwise, the display will always remain partially on whenever the range is plugged in or powered.
