Is there an automatic time out for the oven light for the Bespoke ranges? It doesn't seem to turn off after I close the oven door even after an extended period of time and must be done through the range panel, since the SmartThings app doesn't seem to reflect whether it is on or not.
If I turn on the light by touching the light bulb icon, it stays on until I touch it again. If I turned the oven off, I have to touch oven again to be able to touch the icon to turn it off, then touch oven icon again. If oven has been off awhile, the light doesn't come on when I open the door. The only good thing about my range is the induction cook top. Whomever designed the controls should be fired!
Yes, I just installed my Bespoke oven and I’m experiencing the same issue—the light stays on until I press the light-bulb menu again.
It’s frustrating and wastes energy.
The firmware on both the oven and the SmartThings app likely needs to be updated together to resolve this. It should function as a simple light switch: turning on when something is cooking and turning off once the cooking is finished or the Keep Warm feature is disengaged.
