yesterday in
Kitchen and Family HubWe had a different brand of glass top range for 15 years before we purchased our Samsung in 2021. We know how to care for a glass top range. The Samsung looked worse after only 1 year than the previous one did after 10 years. It does not clean and polish well.
The knobs on the front are really badly designed. The first one broke within a year making that burner useless, and some of the others are cracked. And yes, we did turn them on properly by pushing in first.
The control panel on the front turns on randomly if I so much as brush against it.
The oven does not maintain the set heat. It took me a year to realize there is no visible bottom burner. Is it there? Is it hidden? When I preheat the oven I only feel heat coming from the top burner. Some items need high bottom heat to bake properly and I have had several total fails when trying to bake items like that. The top burns before the bottom is done. Everything takes longer to bake than even the longest time recommended in the recipe.
