Samsung Q990F has Bad/Chopped up Audio Via DTS Connect

So finally hooked my PC via my soundblaster Z SE soundcard to the Q990F. And while I can get 5.1 through the dolby encoder, whenever I switch to DTS, the audio is chopped up. As if the sound is being buffered. I tried different toslink cables but can't get DTS sound to work. Why? My old Vizio M51ax-J6 could do DTS encoding no problem. Any possible solutions?
