Trouble w/icon.

I have new phone and on the icon screen is a dog and I can't delete him? Any suggestions. Fixed. Thank you all for your help.

What are you referring to as the icon screen.  A screenshot would help out a lot.

It's a cartoon of a smal fluffy dog. Once in awhile it reminds me to take a drink of water.

To get rid of it, long press on it, you will see a pop-up menu, tap on the remove.

You can also long press to find out what app put that widget there tap on the I for info.

Is it an icon similar to SamsungTheme Store icons, or the wallpaper has a photo of a dog on it?
