GamingI have a S10 Ultra and I enjoy playing House of Fun games. However, HOF "updated" their software last week and now it will not display correctly on my tablet. It will display correctly on my S24 Ultra phone - both installs are using the same version number. I have tried changing the Aspect Ratio on the Tablet, but the display is either off the screen (top & bottom) or, when using 16:9 ration, I get the ugly gray areas top and bottom.
I'm just wondering if anyone else out there has run into this issue with any games and if there was a resolution for it.
Keep in mind, the game support just tells me to "live with it until an update can fix it." <sigh>
Any help or suggestions would be great.
Thanks,
Rick D.

GamingThis is an issue you need to bring up with the game developer. They are responsible for making sure their software works on the devices they say it's compatible with.

GamingHi Rick,
This looks like a compatibility issue with the gameโs latest update and the Tab S10 Ultraโs screen ratio. Since it works fine on your S24 Ultra, the tablet display is the sticking point.
A couple of things you can try while waiting for the developerโs fix:
Full screen apps: Settings > Display > Full screen apps โ force the game into full screen.
Clear cache/data: Settings > Apps > House of Fun > Storage.
Try Pop-up view/DeX: Sometimes running in a window helps scaling.
Ultimately the real fix has to come from the game developer, but these workarounds may smooth things out for now.

GamingThanks, But this is only happening to 1 game. No other programs are having display issues. And, of course, Samsung just says: "wait for the next upgrade and see..."

GamingYou were told before, if this is happening with a single game, it's an issue to take up with the app developer. The blame is not on Samsung here.

GamingYep. I know this. I never said I blamed Samsung. I had merely asked anyone else that had this issue. I don't believe I ever blamed Samsung - only asked the community for any other insight.

GamingSorry it was the other commenter that appears to lay blame. Wish I could answer your question, but I don't game on my phone.
