It only happens during time jumps like DST/ST changes. It hasn't happened to me with time zone changes when I travel internationally, because I keep my watch in airplane mode and then set the time on my phone to manual, so I can manually change the time, and I change the time before I go to sleep. I imagine if someone was asleep during a time zone change, it would show the same pattern. As I said, they may have fixed it with the watch 7, because I was expecting to see it and didn't.
