When I run I have to cross a street which I pause my watch while I wait then unpause when I've crossed. Today my watch didn't pick gps back up and only showed on the map a tenth of the mile even though it recorded stats for an hour and 20 min run. Also the distance was off bc I know my running course and it was like 1/2 mile off I'm assuming bc the gps never picked back up. I have open sky views so there was no reason for it not to acquire signal when I crossed.
Yes, do set set it to auto pause workouts if it's not on by default.
