Galaxy WatchI just got my first watch today, and I cannot get it work on my Huawei 30 phone. It connects via bluetooth but the wearables app doesn't recognize it. Just gives me the "no devices found" error every time.
I used the accessories menu in Samsung Health to register my device and that worked, but my watch just always says "Check your phone to complete setup"
I have tried deleting/rebooting/wiping cache. Nothing works.
If someone could help me that would be amazing. About to try to refund it...

Galaxy WatchThank you for reaching out. I can understand the importance of our devices pairing together and functioning smoothly. As the Huawei P30 is running Android 9, this device wouldn't be compatible with the Huawei P30. Galaxy Watch8 works with Samsung Galaxy smartphones running Android 12 or higher.

Galaxy WatchIf your Huawei device lacks Google services, this may be a significant factor in the inability to pair. Galaxy watches run Google's Wear OS and are deeply integrated with Google services.

Galaxy WatchNope. Based on everything I've read (I spent hours looking into it) you just have to buy a new phone. It's incredibly, INCREDIBLY frustrating to buy this expensive watch just to realize you also need a new phone. I ended up buying an S24 Ultra on Marketplace...
I was hoping it was just an error like the new Pixel 10 thing but it does not seem to be.
