Samsung 8 classic smartwatch not tracking walking and food scanning accurately

Has anyone has issues with inconsistency with their watch. One minute it tells me I've been walking 10 minutes after the start of my workout. The next minute it tells me I've been walking 10 minutes after I finish my walk which is about 25 minutes round trip. Also is the Samsung Health App still supported? It's not reading the food barcode when I scan with my phone.

When you scan the food barcode are you in Samsung Health -> Food -> Enter -> Meal type -> Scan barcode?
