My samsung watch5 have an availabal update but it will not launched the update

@elaine123456789 Sorry for the issue you are having. I'm not quite understanding the issue. The title of your post and the contents of your post don't seem to agree. 

What phone do you have? 

Is the watch appearing in the wearable app? If so, you can find updates for the watch in the wearable app -> Watch settings -> Watch software update.

Yes. Over & over we have restarted the watch. Uninstall & reinstall wear app. Turned off & on. Right now he watch is at 80% reinstalling again.

How long have you waited? The firmware first has to be transferred from the phone to the watch. This can take quite a while. Then the firmware must be installed on the watch. It sounds like you are in the process where the phone transfers the firmware to the watch.

I have worked on this for 2 days. 3 calls to Samsung & one repair shop Samsung sent me to. All basic troubleshooting should have been done

@elaine123456789 Many people who couldn't find solutions contacting Samsung have found solutions here from other Samsung users. But it sounds like you may have exhausted the ideas. Next step is to have the watch evaluated by Samsung for repair.
