Missing Messages Complication

Had an option to add Messages as a complication when I first bought the watch. Messed around with some setting and it went missing. I've reset the watch multiple times and even contacted support and they can help me. Really kinda annoyed and not sure what to do now.

Which watch?  Which watch face?  Is it possible that complication is no longer supported on the face you chose?  You shouldn't have to reset the watch; all you need to do is re-customize the watch face in the Wear app to restore the missing complication.

It's the Ultra. But I was also having the same issue on my watch6. The complication was there when I bought my ultra then it was gone.

Have you tried to recustomize your watch face or choose a different one to customize?

Yes. I can use a different watch face that allows app shortcut and set it that way, but I REALLY dont like the option. Unless you have some you can suggest?

I don't have the ultra so the watch faces may have different availabily. I was suggesting that if your current watch face was customizable and one if your customizations disappeared, it may be a simple matter of adding it back by going to manage your watch faces and tapping the "customize" button and reapplying the complication.

I am partial to this one, except for the fact it's digital. I'm old school, I prefer analog.

I've tried. It just doesn't appear as an option in customize anymore. I have it set to that watch face currently and it's okay. Not terrible not great haha. I jist miss using my favorite one

Have you scrolled up, as well as down in the options? The selection sometimes starts in the middle section and the messages complication is near the top.

I can only guess that for some reason your original face just decided that complication was not an option, although every customizable watch face I've looked at offers that as an option.
