Locked out of Watch Ultra

So i enabled a lock pattern for my watch which i promptly forgot after i rebooted the watch and now cannot get back in

Unablt to power off to reset as it requires the pattern.

Not connected to any network because i believe you have to put the pattern in before it will connect to anything

Cant reset through findmydevice as the watch is offline due to the pattern not put in.

Im stuck, the only thing i can think of is to wait until the battery dies, charge it and boot into recovery/reset.

Any other suggestions?

Is your statement "which i promptly forgot" code for it's not your watch? I find it very hard to believe someone could immediately forget their lock pattern.

Well when you are my age, yes its quite possible. I set the pattern and it was a fairly easy pattern. However ive tried multiple times and it doesnt work. Noni didnt steal it and anyway its not possible to use the watch with a different samsung account so even if it was stolen it would be of no use to anyone

Patterns are the easiest method to forget.  One should never use a pattern, especially on the watch, since the watch has no backup pin.  On the phone, at least you can set a PIN or password as well as a pattern.

The problem with the pattern alsonits quite hard to get it right on such a small screen. Normally set a pin to be honest but decided to use a pattern.

I did the same stupid thing by setting a dumb pattern...... However, out of complete frustration, i did manage to force reboot my watch several times by using some key combinations.. Unfortunately I have not yet figured out how I managed to do it again. But it can be done. May require few press and releases like an iPad.

To force reboot your watch, you need to press and hold the home and back keys simultaneously until the watch restarts.  There's no sense in doing this, though if you cannot get into the watch because you forgot your pattern.  You can force the watch into recovery mode to reset (which you will have to do to erase the current pattern), by this method.
