Galaxy WatchHi!
Guys I am trying to use Geminiman app to ONLY remove gemini from my Watch but keep the Google normal assistant.
Is there a way to do it?
It seems that disabling this just kills any option of google assistance.
My issue is that is driving me crazy, every time I charge my watch, it changes to GEMINI (which is a laggy piece of **bleep** on the watch) even though is set to Google assistant on my phone.
So I always have to go back to the phone, swap to Gemini then back to Google assistant to fix the Watch.
Using Gemin on the Watch Ultra is terrible..even setting up a timer is SUPER laggy WHEN it works and it doesnt even read back the confirmation.
Meanwhile, Google Assistant reacts immediately and reads back the timer to confirm it was right.
Maybe its time to find a new watch if this wont get fixed ๐

Galaxy WatchNo. On the watch it is strictly Google Personal Assistant which combines both. Unlike the phone, you cannot choose one or the other.

Galaxy WatchYou can't remove it, but you can hide it in a folder for unused apps, and not use it. You can disable it, by going to the wear app/watch settings/apps, scrolling to Google Digital Assistant and unchecking the "enable" box. If you are having issues with it, but want to use it, I would suggest force stopping it, disabling it, rebooting the watch and then re-enabling it. On the Watch Gemini is integrated with the digital assistant, while on the phone you can choose either/or. It shouldn't cause lag, though. Have you cleared the watch's cache partition? Issues with Gemini/Google Assistant would fall squarely in Google's wheelhouse.

Galaxy WatchI don't believe the new app can be uninstalled, but I did find the original Google Assistant for watch in the Play store https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.google.android.apps.googleassistant. So, I would disable Gemini and install the assistant.
