Has anyone found a way to connect accessories directly to the watch via BLE (for example, a cadence sensor or heart rate monitor)? including using third-party software

Galaxy WatchThe Samsung Health app on your phone connects any accessories that support ble technology, no additional app is needed for this.

Galaxy WatchI suggest considering adding support for connecting external sports sensors and accessories (e.g. chest heart rate monitors, running and cycling sensors) to Galaxy Watch devices.
This feature will improve the accuracy of measurements and make the watch more convenient for users who are actively involved in sports.

Galaxy WatchYou have to connect all accessories through the health app. Why would you want them connected directly to the watch? When a supported accessory is connected to the health app, the data is collected by the health app on the watch and synced with the cloud and the data will be shown in your phone app. It would be redundant to connect it directly to the watch. If you are speaking of physically connected to the watch via a cable, not only would that interfere with your movement, but would just create another opening for moisture to get into and, thus, be useless for swimming. If you mean via BT, then you should be able to pair the device as you would any other BT device to the watch by going to the settings (on the watch), connections, Bluetooth, scan for the device and pair it.
Other than that, you are best making this request via the feedback link in the support tab of the Members app.

Galaxy WatchIf you haven't noticed, I only mentioned connecting accessories and sensors via BLE (Bluetooth Low Energy), no wires or cables. The watch doesn't support searching for BLE devices due to software limitations. The watch doesn't take data from the sensors just because they were registered on the phone in the accessories section. If you didn't know, to use accessories, you need to start a workout on your mobile phone, bypassing the watch, why would I take my phone with me on a run, instead I could connect an additional sensor to the watch via BLE (remember this is a wireless connection), which is not supported on the watch.

Galaxy WatchAnyway, making your suggestion here isn't going to have an effect. This type of request is best being made by sending feedback directly to the developers through the feedback link in the support tab of the members app.

Galaxy Watchthe application does not indicate a list of supported devices, these are advertising integrations. The list of accessories for connection via BLE (Bluetooth Low Energy) is much larger than you can imagine, but all these accessories are connected only to a mobile phone through the health application in the accessories section
