I am setting up a new Watch7 and downloaded the gmail app. When I click on the gmail icon, it gives me a message "account not supported". Do I just have to add the gmail address to the google account on the wear app? It's confusing because my google account uses my hotmail email to sign in and I don't want to alter that by adding the gmail email address. Another option to receive gmails on my watch would be to add the gmail email address to the outlook app, but I'm concerned that it might mess up my google account sign in. Sorry, this is confusing! Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks!
Thanks for your reply. I seem to have fixed the issue and I'm now getting gmail emails on both the outlook app (I added the gmail email) and the gmail app (I don't know why it has started to work) but all's well that ends well.
You have to log into gmail with the account it is assigned to. You can add an additional gmail account to your phone, which will translate to the watch.
