These watches I've purchased have had years apart of purchase and use. The only environment that's the same is the Arizona heat. I don't go crazy downloading all kinds of things. My usage is very simple. Though I appreciate your info.

If you are having issues with Bixby, you can use Google Assistant instead.

As for the watches being "garbage," I regret to inform you that Galaxy Watches are some of the better smartwatches out there.

I've compared them to Apple watches and they don't stand a chance and I can't stand Apple products. I have a love-hate relationship with Google. So the assistant will not be an option. Thanks though.

Yes, Apple Watch is by far the best smartwatch experience. Galaxy watch, unfortunately, lags behind in standalone usability. Even so, you aren't going to find a better or more integrated option in the Samsung ecosystem.

Bixby Watch has significant difficulty with basic voice recognition, integrating with services, and completing tasks.

While there are plenty of reasons to be leary of Google (especially when it comes to data collection practices,) you'll find that assistant and gboard do significantly improve the overall galaxy watch experience.

I was thinking of deciding to go the route of looking at Garmin watches because GPS is a huge game player for me. I don't know what features they have. I will do my research and see if that would be an option.

Well Cosmic Ray, I totally understand.
I'm 81 years old and the only thing I use a Galaxy 7 watch for is for the sleep function.
About 10 days ago, my watch started to tell me that I was getting no deep sleep and almost no rem sleep. After many text conversations with the useless texting help (I was on for over 69 minutes) it was decided I should send it to the repair center.
After a quick turnaround, I had it back and assumed it was repaired.
I was wrong.
Back on the texting, I was asked to send it back to repair.
This time after 2 days, the ticket was canceled.
I texted as to why this happened.
I was told that it would be replaced or I would receive a refund.
That was 2 days ago and I have not received a text or email.

I came from Apple Watches. These Samsung watches are not worth the money paid for them. They are continously buggy and not good for fitness. Yeah they might be ok for the person who just walks but if you're really into your health and measurements, Samsung ain't it. They also don't get anywhere near the advertised battery life. They finally seemed to fix the issue where the watches couldn't determine whether it wanted to give metric or standard measurements. I blame mostly the software engineers. Samsung probably would do beget by doing vanilla os as opposed to trying to do their own UI.

Samsung advertises the new watch ultra available in titanium white. However, if you try to order a message states not available in your location. After chatting with Samsung, I learned that the titanium white watch isn't available. My comment was to delete it as an option until it is available. Instead, they push one of the 2 other options.
