Galaxy Watch 8 Series feedback, order, trade-in thread

From someone who owns a Watch Ultra and a Watch 6 Classic, and loves the design of each in its own respect. If what I'm seeing around the the interwebs is true regarding the next Classic taking design cues form the Ultra I'm gonna ask right now for someone to please put a stop to the madness. My Ultra is my daily driver that I throw a case on if I'm going on a more grimy active mission. But the 6 Classic is my head turner when I'm suited up and want to keep that energy rocking down to my wrist. Silver Classic with a metal band, fugidaboudit. Round watches are still cool and Classic ain't Classic if it has a new school form factor. Give me a ROUND 8 Classic the way its supposed to look, and also a Watch Ultra2 with a rotating bezel. Boom! Everyone's happy.

Went to check out pre-orders and they list Galaxy Watch 7 in the trade–in section does this also include the Ultra model?

No I reached out to samsung, weird why ultra isnt and option to trade in..guess im keeping my current one. #disappointed samsung

Oh, so it's the same for watches? I was gonna upgrade my Samsung watch ultra and my Motorola razr 2025 for the new watch classic and the z flip 7. I guess I won't.

Feels like a missed opportunity to make a quick buck on both the refurbishing of the device and the new device sale from tech enthusiasts.

Yes I am in the same both have two Ultras and was gonna trade one for classic, but I guess Samsung sees that as downgrade regardless of what customer actually decide , they decided for us

No, if they were the case. You should be given the option to trade it for the new galaxy watch 8 ultra. There is no option for trade-in. So, i'm a little aggravated by this.

Yes, I called Samsung support few times. 

1. NO 2024 Ultra Model trade in in drop down liat

2. One rep told me keep looking will appear in few days; others said Nope...

3. One can get a bit better (up to $180 on Sell Samsung Galaxy Watch Ultra For MORE Cash | ItsWorthMore.com). 

4. I have Classic 4 that doesn't turn on even after 2 days of non-stop charging. Samsung told me I can select "any watch any condition" and get $100 off on 2025 Ultra and get $180 on the Sell Samsung watch... so that's $280 down...

I know one thing for dang sure, if they think they can offer me less for my Galaxy Watch Ultra than they give for the 5 pro ($250)... Then they're plumb crazy....

Galaxy watches looked better as being circular, rather than the new odd shape. Do you think the new design looks good?

Do anybody able to see the option to trade in Galaxy watch ultra 2024 for Galaxy watch ultra 2025? i do not see it. do they remove the Galaxy watch ultra 2024?
